Received 2 Damaged Slabs 1 1

Since this is the first time this has happened to me can someone tell me if I just send in the books as Mechanical Error or do I need a response from CS which I sent an

email 2 days ago. 1 book has a scratch on the front of the slab and the other has what looks like scuffing or a powder like substance inside the back of the slab.

Hello! I was able to locate your email and responded to you there. We always suggest that you contact customer service as we do note your account when you have received approval for a Mechanical Error. This would prevent you from being charged if it is found that the submission does not qualify for a Mechanical Error. Please note that due to our crystal-clear slabs, some scratches/scuffs are unavoidable and considered normal.
