Brandon House 947, Robert N. Owen, Man For Hire, 1965. VG/F. A very pretty copy that looks almost brand new but for the price which is very neatly scratched out- another tough book in any shape. It actually presents much better than my other copy, if it doesn't sell, I won't be sad. Cover art by Fred Fixler. $80  Withdrawn

Leisure Book LB1172, J. X. Williams, The Bronze and the Wine, 1966. VG/F. A very attractive copy with no major issues, just a little bit of surface wear. This is a subset of the Greenleaf publications, all of which are highly sought after but Leisure Books, Embers, and Companions are particularly tough. Cover art by Robert Bonfils. $200

Belmont L92-567, Ivan Howard (Editor), Novelets of Science Fiction, 1963. Fine (unread). Just a sweet, clean, bright copy of this nice collection of sci-fi authors. I forgot about this copy when I bought it had something special inside. I'll let it be a surprise to the buyer but it's pretty cool. Cover art by Robert Maguire. $10  Sold to dover

Some are very steamy! Nice paintings, but I would have to think about a good reason for my wife if I started collecting these, honey just appreciate the art ..lol

The art is the reason I'm collecting them.  Lord knows, it's not for the writing- it's all pretty campy.  Compared to some of the Greenleaf titles, the Brandon House books are positively PG.

The only "adult" publisher I'm really looking for is Essex House, which is known for the writing more than the covers.  But I've only ever found one of their books in the wild.

Greenleaf are the real deal when it comes to sleazy sex-soaked smut. At least...um...that's what I've been told. :shy:
