Savage Tales 5, 9.2-9.4. Looks and feels like the day it was printed. Has a very subtle rippling at the top edge but otherwise, a very high grade copy. Classic Boris crucifixion cover and a wonderfully illustrated tale by John Buscema inside! $110

And going out with a roar, here's the last book of the thread:

Vampirella (French) 1, 8.5-9.0. Just a stunning copy of this first issue for the regular French run. There's just a small amount of surface rubbing but otherwise, this copy looks like it's new. Nicest copy I've ever seen in person, after all these years. Of course, the iconic cover by Frank Frazetta is one for the ages. An 8.5 sold on eBay recently for $600. This copy is $400.  Sold to thehumantorch @20% off

Great books RD! I take a few days off for vacation and you and Catrick storm the boards with pb's :headbang: Awesomeness! :headbang:

It's nice to see others also enjoying these books.  They really have reinvigorated my collecting joy.  I still love comics, but the excitement of finding cool new covers and classic artwork is pretty special.  You (and the usual pb thread denizens) helped me a lot with that!  (thumbsu

Monarch Books 138, Joseph Foster, Stephana, 1959. VG/F. This is a beautiful looking copy with a couple of non-color breaking creases, otherwise, this copy looks unread. Another great cover by Robert Maguire with one of my favorite compositions styles he used frequently. $18

Weird Vol. 2 No. 2, April 1967, 9.4, Incredibly rare book in this condition considering it's 50 years old and the paper they used was very cheap.  I've never seen a better copy and I've been looking at these for a very long time.  Colors and gloss are bright and fresh.  If TATs weren't what they are, I'd get this certified before selling.  The census shows a single 9.8, single 9.4, and a single 9.2 with only 7 copies graded total.   $280
