If you remove the staples all together, the book could still achieve as high as 3.0 with a detached cover, correct?  Just a thought as a blue label 3.0 might be preferred to some than even a blue/gray 3.5 conserved label.

This one really isn’t difficult to figure out, but sending the comic in absent of staples isn’t a very good option.  A detached cover and a book absent of staples isn’t the same thing.
