The guy leaning over BE has an empty hand that probably originally had a weapon in it. Can't quite recall whether the OA exists showing the original version. Ran for several issues but this cover for issue 6 is, I believe, the only S&K work in the Charlton run. Like many Charlton books from that era, very tough to find in decent shape. Beautiful copies of everything! The Prize Charlie Chans are great and I've had mostly rough copies of all but never been able to find a 3 and been looking for several years. Simon drew variants of the figure of the Fly many times over the years. If you have to use a rope, are you really flying? I've never read a full explanation of what happened. Simon breezes through the episode in his autobiography. The Boy Explorers 2 is probably the easiest to find of the Harvey sub only issues. I think we've kicked around a few times whether Flash Gordon 5 actually exists. With no copy having surfaced to this point, I'm pretty sure it was never published. The OA does exist and has been auctioned on Heritage. I don't believe CGC is willing to slab these sub only issues anymore, so a census count isn't possible.
