Reholder Turnaround Times

Hello @somewhereintexas,

Thank you for your question! This delay was caused by a much higher than number amount of submissions being sent in to our facility labeled as Mechanical Errors but did not fall under this service. MEs and Reholders go through much of the same process in-house but because MEs are given an expedited turnaround time in-house. and must be reviewed individually for their issues, these have caused a delay with regular reholder submissions. Any submission sent in through the ME process that does not fall under our Mechanical Error will be returned to customers in their original encapsulation. Also, moving forward customers have 14 days after a submission has shipped from our office to report any damage to the case from shipping or debris in holders for Mechanical Error qualification.

Rest assured, we are doing everything we can behind the scenes to make this timeframe more manageable and acceptable for our customers. Thank you for your patience.

I have a ReHolder that was receive into the CGC system on 1/24/23.  At the time submitted, the turnaround rate was 46 days, or something similar.  Is there any way to check if the order falls under that time frame or the current 76 days.  The order still states, “Scheduled for Grading.” Thanks

Curious as to why this rule was enacted. Can you enlighten us?
