Thoughts on this? Nice book with the main issue being the 1/2" tear on top staple. Just trying to see what effect that has on the grade? Thanks

I have an 8.5 and a 9.0 with small staple tears. This one is quite a bit larger. The guide says 7.0 to 9.6. I think this is a 7.5/8.0 tear, leaning higher b/c it's on the back cover, so the comic's appearance is less compromised.

No, I bought it with the tear. I did clean and press it. I know what you mean though. I have a copy of Tomb Of Dracula that I cleaned with an absorene sponge and promptly created a 3 inch tear. Was a really nice copy until I decided to make it better. 😏
