The mess would be even more horrendous if it had been replaced too. Think fender bender. This looks like the original damage from the ding. Had someone worked on it too, it would show. scburdet Posted April 30, 2023 Share Posted April 30, 2023 Staple placement is all over the place in silver/bronze books. I suspect it was not stapled on the spine and then got crunched. This is a pretty worn copy with some aging discoloration of the paper. 3.5 now. Maybe a grade higher with a lot of TLC.
