Of note, the marks you see are on the plastic bag, not the comic. Playing it safe, the two you will receive should be 9.4 or better. Though, I will send you what I assess to be 9.6 or better - which is what I would send in for grading for moderns.

Good morning, Kevin...I'm not planning on marking the thread "closed" at any point. I'm  kind of hoping people will continue posting until we get to $25K at least...since the family  is in a lot of need. $20k was the number Carmen put on there because...well, she's never done anything like this before (thank G-d) and they are really humble, sweet people who keep thanking us every time I speak to her, or text. Even Mia sent a thank you when I bought something on the Amazon list. I think between the little one and the college expenses...that that number is pretty modest and the grandchild who is on the way very very soon, the more we CAN help, the easier this initial part will be for them...but it depends on what everyone here decides to do.

However long this continues, I'm very proud of our community response...I always am

What happens with these threads I've started, is after a time is that people stop bumping the thread and it kind of falls off the first page.  As I mentioned in another post, at that time I'll stop bumping it unless something special happens, but there is nothing to stop someone else from adding something even after that.

So hopefully we will get more interest even over this weekend. and then we will see if that continues.

Good evening, I've updated the Recap earlier on this page (hopefully I got it right this time!)

The Gofundme is now up to $19,343, plus at least $800 in checks have gone out, so we have met our initial goal.  I hope we can go on to meet the next goal...but either way, great job everyone!

There are still a lot of great things on the Amazon wish list...including a number of toys and games for an adorable 5 year old who is a COMIC BOOK FAN ! It appears she loves Spidey.
