Pulp Time!

Mammoth Detective V3 #3, August 1944
Huge thick pulp, nearly 300 pages.

Showing both covers, cool painted one page crime mystery on the BC.
Early short story by Robert Bloch, and a Minute Mystery by our own Mort Weisinger, a pulpster before he got into comics.

Spine strip is sharp, but there's a good sized dogear lower RH FC, and chipping around
the perimeter, and the LH edge BC has several chips and small pieces out. Flat and square, offwhite pages, and the colors
pop on both covers.  A nice example.

Asking $40  SOLD!

Our Gang 34

There's just not much wrong with this one. Couple color chips off lower edge, lthough the paper's still intact,
touch of general wear, all on a flat clean tight copy, with decent gloss and offwhite pages.

Yours for $35

Soldiers of Fortune 9

Here's a title I don't run across very often. Nice looking copy but the CF is loose. Broken out from the upper staple,
and the lower staple never caught the CF at all, the paper's intact where there should be a couple punctures.
Couple tiny tears along spine, bit of general wear. Still glossy and clean, white pages

Asking $30

Who's ready for some obscure Golden Age?

Great Comics #1, November 1941

Old store stamp upper edge BC, touch of general wear, touch of light soiling.
Flat, tight, decent gloss, white pages. There's a Wonder Woman wannabe,  Jungle Jim wannabe, and an Angel wannabe along
with the usual spies, bigfoot humor, manly men, etc. A nice (barely) pre-war comic.

Asking $300

Captain America 241
Cap vs Punisher!
Frank Miller cover!

I see a handful of teensy color breaks along the spine, and a whiff of general wear, much of which would press out.
Flat and clean, tight spine and CF, glossy, white pages.

Take it for $25

Forbidden Worlds 2
CGC 6.0, offwhite - white pages

Pretty copy, looks to me like it got dinged hard for the soiling along the spine BC.
If it doesn't sell here, I'll think about cracking it,  reading it (never had a copy before) and sending it in for a clean and a press.

Asking $300

Strange Mysteries 19
Reprints Journey Into Fear #1, two Baker reprints.

Nice looking midgrader, but at one time or another some goofus whanged three bonus staples through the entire book along the spine.
The staples are gone, but alas the tiny holes remain. Someone made a note in ink along the bottom margin of the BC.
Otherwise some general wear, long diagonal light sub-type crease FC. Tiny tears at both staples, but cover is still firmly attached.

Asking $150

Pulp Time!

Sky Fighters V13 #1, April 1936

Another gorgeous copy, with a tiny split and dogear lower LH FC, tiny tear LH edge BC, and that's about it.
Flat, square, clean, tight, spine strip is aces, interior is supple, cream - offwhite,  an all around pretty pulp.

Asking $50

Astonishing 59

A flat clean copy, but the FC has some little scritchy-scratches/tiny rubs here and there. Much of it would press out, but  not
all, not by a long shot. Small tear LH BC, couple tiny tears inside, nothing touches the art. Otherwise flat, tight, good gloss, white pages.

Asking $50
