Looks great, flat, glossy, tight, white pages, but there's a split in the spine between  the two staples, and the
rest of it doesn't look that solid either. 

Asking $10 for a gorgeous copy that will be begging for a piece of tape in ten years

Archie Annual 2, 1950-1951 edition

Flat and square, good gloss, tight, offwhite pages, but there's a small tear RH edge FC, and some old tape stains
along nearly all of the spine  BC. Tape is long gone, but it looks to me like someone has made a neat glue repair, 
reattaching the back cover.

Very strong copy, but no gloss whatsoever,  I'm guessing it was printed that way on matte finish paper
Flat, tight,  clean, square, cream - offwhite pages. There are two minor waves in the front cover, they'd press right out.

Weird Tales V36 #3, January 1942
H P Lovecraft, Fritz Leiber, Seabury Quinn

A tight square copy, witn minimal chipping and wear,  but small split upper spine FC, chip off bottom of spine strip, and
the spine strip is a little sun faded, orangeish instead of red. Interior is nice, offwhite pages

EDIT 
I missed it initially, the split at upper spine continues as a tear into the front cover about an inch.

Here's an odd one for  you all. 

Who Goofed? #2
Magazine, slick cover, b&w interior. Published by Hillman Periodicals (Yeah, the Airboy folks) in March 1956, 
it can't quite make up its mind whether it wants to be Playboy, Mad Magazine, or Confidential.
No nudity, but the articles tend humorous,  there are some cheesecake shots, many single panel gags, fumetti, etc etc.

Only issue I've ever run across.
