fiendish
When you're selling comics via auction on eBay, do you think the timing of the auction's end matters? I've generally had the best luck (most bids) having auctions end between 9:00-11:00 Eastern on Sunday nights, but I was curious as to your thoughts and eager for your input. Doctor Dositheus
I think you've already got the best time. You could make the case that it end in the afternoon to not overlap with the big auction sites, but you also benefit from FOMO when somebody doesn't get what they were after at your evening time too. fiendish
Dr. Balls
I never know if the majority of people use sniping programs - it's been around for a loooong time, I just assume most people use them. For buying, the end time doesn't matter to me, because I use Auction Sniper to put the bid in on the last 5 seconds for me, even if it's 1AM. For selling, I try to end the auctions on the days I'm at home, just to make packing and shipping easier - but it's usually 9AM-7PM end times. fiendish
MAR1979
Ive used sniping services since 2004. My guess is most serious bidders do. Still if you are hoping to get the North America rube novice contingent then yes Sun night 21:00-23:00ET works best Edited May 19, 2023 by MAR1979 fiendish
