TroyPa
How do I determine value of a comic that on eBay is anywhere from $50 to dreamers asking $5000? For example, I have a platinum Spider-Man #1 from 1991...some are listed for 350 and others for 10 tines that? What would I send it into be graded under? Lightning55
GPA shows a 9.8 graded copy being around $3700, but a 9.2 is down to $600. If you think it will grade below 9.0, you could put it through Modern with a DV of $400. If you think higher grade, use a tier that goes up to $1000. Keep in mind that this is the amount you are insured for. If you think it's worth a lot more, you will need to use a tier that offers you enough coverage.
