Is this a printer defect or color loss from rubbing? 1 1

New to grading and trying to figure out what the condition would be on this.  The rest of it looks great minus two small color breaking spine ticks on the front cover.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you

If that is "hard cover stock" then that spine stress is normal from opening the book.

I do not know, that is why I phrased the comment/question with "If that is...", I am sure the OP can tell us if it is a hard cover stock.
