A real beater. It is complete with a full cover but is chippy, split and detached. Interior paper is tanning just a little flakey on edges but mostly fairly supple and still very readable. Displays OK and nothing but a filler until you can find a better one.

Wild Ogden Whitney werewolf attack cover. Fat 52 page issue!

A very nice, pretty copy. Spine slightly bound off center. Spine is smooth with cover bound tightly to book and centerfold. A few light spine stress lines. Lower right tip of cover has a small crease. Small upper right corner bend that does not break color. No tears or missing pieces. Interior pages are white and fresh. Real nice copy.

Animal #12 Dec-Jan 1945

Nice Walt Kelly cover. Interior early Pogo story by Kelly

Front cover has a water stain at top and bottom spine edge. Staples are rusty as well. Corners of cover have bends and slight creases. Same with back cover as well. Smooth, tight spine. Well bound copy. No tears or missing pieces. Slightly yellowed interior pages and very supple.

Great War title with a nice GGA story

Lots of spine, edge and corner wear. Tiny creases, tears and a 1/4" chip out of cover on right in center. Spine has a slight bend but not actually rolled. Subscription crease. Everything attached with white interior paper.

Tex Taylor #3 Jan 1949 Marvel Comics

Syd Shores cover. Arizona Annie appearance.

One of the whitest white cover GA books I have ever seen. It is blinding! Has a couple very small right edge tears.A few dark spots on the bottom of the spine. A couple small creases. Very nice interior pages. Book is sound and tightly attached to covers.

Famous Funnies #71 June 1940

Nice Buck Rogers by Calkins. Very, heavy, fat issue.

A real beauty. Hard to imagine an 83 year old comic could survive this nice! Spine has a couple small bends. A tiny chip out of upper top right corner. Spine is smooth and everything snug to covers. No tears or creases. Just very minor wear. Nice interior paper.

Was $65.

Now $50. For a beautiful 1940 book!

Andy Panda New Funnies Comic Book Subscription Premium Pinback Button

Was mailed out when you subscribed to New Funnies Comics in the late 1940's. Nice image of him!

1-1/4" round. Has just a couple tiny foxing spots on rim and on his head left side. Common with these. Red ink is printed a little light. Back is a bit oxidized. No cracks, chips and bright color. Scarce!

Detective Comics #274 Dec 1959

A very bight, glossy, tight copy with rich color. Smooth, tight spine. No tears or creases. Even spine. Has a couple small. light spine bends and a tiny indent in cover just to left of title. Top right corner has a small bend but not creased and does not break color. Interesting stamp on cover. Was possibly sold in Europe. A little dark ink spotting on edge on back cover. No tears, chips or missing pieces. A very nice white paged copy.

Whole Lotta Love in this fat 52 pager!

Lots of bug damage on spine and bottom of back cover. Bottom staple popped but hanging on the top staple. Some creases worst is on back. Bright cover and fresh interior pages.

Dollman by Crandall. Great cover!

Dust shadow on top of cover with a small hole on top edge by "Big Top". Small chip out of top of spine on back cover. Lots of minor general wear. Still well attached at single wartime staple. Centerfold is neatly detached and slightly ragged on right side. Supple interior paper.

Wally Wood story. Full of sleazy Fox girls and violent stories

Some spine wear. Bottom staple popped but still attached at top staple. Looks like some color rubbing on cover due to light water. Just general wear. Small, ink stamp arrival date at top for those who like them. No tears or creases. Nice, off white interior paper.

A very sharp, clean Canada copy. Flat, clean and tight. No tears, creases or missing pieces. Some light stains at top of front and back covers. Small ink notation at top of front cover. Cover well bound to book. Centerfold neatly detached but no edge tears or wear.
