What is your purpose for posting for a grade?

Do you folks put the books up here to get an average grade to place in your file?

Or are you getting a feel for whether or not to send it to CGC?

i don't want to send my books to CGC, i post my comics and i give my p.o.v to improve in grading, i think i have to learn everyday with grading,and i really think it's here i can improve(limits are scans that can't give you reality but only approach it), and for the fun to share something with all of you guys !!

I do it to get an idea of the grade since my grading is still a work in progress, especially in the f/vf range.

Oh, to get exposure across different era's of comics. I mean, if one deals with GA primarily, how do you go about the grading for SA and BA etc.
