Advice on Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez (contact, pre-show commissions)

Jose is coming to Baltimore and I was trying to see about him doing a pre-show comic sketch commission that I could pick up and submit to CGC for yellow labeling.

Anyone know of how to contact Jose for this? I've found a few pages on Facebook, but he doesn't seem to have his own website or a well publicized method of contact for this kind of stuff, so I thought I'd check with you all!

Wishing you good luck, you're going to need it

Ugh.  I can't stand Spencer Beck.  I have tried to get commissions from several artists he represents through him.  He always has a problem and elects not to take the work for them.  Then when I meet them in person they do it with no problem at a show.  Spencer is worst, he has undoubtedly cost each artist he represents thousands of dollars.

Hi miraclemet, just saw this post. I am a friend of Jose's and have been helping him at cons, for years. He do not take precommissions or at-home commissions. This has been his norm since he first started doing cons. The best way to get a piece from him is to make a beeline to his table, when you get there, and take a look through his portfolios. He has been bringing more predone pieces, from pencil to pen and ink to colored figure pieces, than he had been previously. Most of these are done on 9x12". He also has been bringing more prelim art to cons, over the past few years.
