New TCGs?
1 1

Based on the statement below does this mean that you will grade virtually any TCG that fits in the holder? I have cards from TCG's from japan like precious memories, prism connect, chaosTCG to name a few. Another question i have is that these TCG's have Hand autographed promos that were distributed by the manufacturer as a point redemption program. Will CGC grade these?

CGC Cards will grade virtually all TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards, sized 2-5/8" x 3-3/4" (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick. With the merger, all non-sports cards will be eligible for grading, including many series that were not accepted previously, such as Garbage Pail Kids, Mars Attacks, Wacky Packages, Star Trek and many more, from 1879 to today!

Hello @content808, thank you for contacting us. Yes, mainly any licensed standard-sized trading card will not be eligible for grading. If you have any questions about specific TCGs when you go to submit, feel free to message us via email and we can verify for you! Also, for autographed cards, we will grade those that are manufactured with the signature printed on them. Any cards that are signed after they have been "pack pulled" will receive a green qualified label. You can read more about this qualified label HERE.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

So I just made submitted an order with the autographed cards. These are point redemption cards that you can submit to the manufacturer and they send you a hand signed card by the voice actor. Since they are done by the manufacturer they should be graded right? Also there's no way to add the autograph service to the card in the submission form.

Second question is that a typo in your second sentence? Any licensed standard sizes trading card will be eligible?

Hello @content808

Yes, sorry for any confusion. It looks like Kailee did have a typo in her reply. Licensed cards that meet our size restrictions, 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller, should be eligible for grading.

As long as the signed card is obtained directly from the manufacturer, it should be eligible for grading. The final determination is at the discretion of the grading team and would require in-hand evaluation.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.
