Djedi
I wasn't exactly sure how to word this, but I mean things like Christmas, Halloween, angels, demons, witches, vampires, mummies, gods/myths, etc. These are just examples. It can be something specific such as covers that have a photorealism art style or something broader like covers that make you laugh. Get Marwood & I
My overarching theme is "....that no one else collects". Seemingly. I also collect "Flying over Niagra Falls in a barrel whilst fixing a loose fascia board with a mastic bonding gun" covers. It's quite a small group lizards2 and AJD
MattTheDuck
I think there are a couple of threads on here, or maybe they're part of larger threads. "Fish to the face" and so forth. Djedi
ThothAmon
The overarching theme of my collection is cyan, magenta, yellow and black. bc, Coverdeath and Lazyboy
themagicrobot
I collect comics with covers that don't have images of Gorillas on them and I collect comics that have the letters "DC" in the top corner. I also collect America's Best Comics but am struggling to find a copy of No 78 from May 1960. Lazyboy

rlextherobot
Sort of: I am collecting March 1979 cover date books, which is more about the date than cover itself, although I won't buy any variants that omit the month (some Whitman's etc) MAY1979 and ThothAmon
bluehorseshoe
Anyone still have the link to the “lady in the white dress covers” in the late 60s and early 70s DC horror books? Please, please repost if possible. F For Fake and KCOComics
circuitryusa
I collect my family tree with Amazing Spider-Man books... right now just 3, but as my family grows, so will the display. My wife and son have their birthday months displayed in 9.8, and mine in 9.4 (can't be that cocky to give myself a 9.8 .... plus it's pricey to get 9.8's in my birth year ) ThothAmon
Ken Aldred
One theme I wish I’d done at the start of my collecting, but which is too pricey on some items now, is star field covers. I just think the dots against the blackness of space looks great. Edited August 29, 2023 by Ken Aldred Djedi

Collecting "Flying over Niagra Falls in a barrel in advance of preparing a turkey dinner" books could be an interesting subset.... What do you think of it so far @Djedi?
