I'm picturing a desk with one of those green bankers lamps on it.

Sitting at it, while dressed in a suit and tie.....an 8 year old Ronald formally stamps the first page on each of his comic books.

It's not in the same category, but a recent buy in Las Vegas included several books I'd sold in NY a decade ago.  They still had my price codes on the back.

Somewhat on a related note, I recently found some old backing boards that were stamped by a local store that hasn't existed for many years now.  I happened to visit another store on the other side of town and found that former owner working as an employee at this newer store.  The next time I was there, I brought in a couple of those boards, and it started a really fun reminisce-fest.

Weird stuff like that is just another reason I love this hobby.

I was prepping a few dollar boxes for an upcoming show when I noticed store stamps on an occasional book or backing board. I put them aside and might make a thread about them if I get enough.
