Adventures of Superman #533 (direct).  This issue features an appearance by Impulse.

VF+, or better.  The entire bottom right corner of the comic has a very mild bend through it that will press out.  The back shows some very light soiling near the staples.

Adventures of Superman #535 (direct).  The issue features an appearance by Alpha Centurion and Lori Lemaris.

VF/NM, or better.  There are a couple of minor pressable defects here, with a press helping raise the grade.

VF/NM, or better.  Press out the mild spine/stacking roll and you're looking at a NM- comic (minimum).

VF+, or better.  This one has some very mild pressable defects that if fixed will get the grade to a NM- or better.

Adventures of Superman #539 (direct).  This issue features the 1st appearance of Anomaly.  The comic was orignally polybagged with a copy of 'On the Edge' mini magazine, which is included.

VF, or better.  The back cover shows the telltale signs of being polybagged with the mini magazine.  A clean/press will help a bit.

Adventures of Superman #540 (direct).  This issue is a Final Night tie-in, featuring the 1st appearance of Ferro.

VF+, or better.  Not a bad-looking comic, but there is a mild spine/stacking roll as well as ink transfers on the back near the staples.

Adventures of Superman #541 (direct).  This issue features Superboy and Kekona.

VF, or better.  There are some pressable defects, but the back cover shows some areas of very light ink loss/scuffs, possibly due to the original backing board (it's been replaced).

VF/NM, or better.  I hesitate to give this one a NM- estimate because of so many pressable defects...which will improve the grade when pressed.

Adventures of Superman #544 (direct).  This issue features an appearance by Mike 'Machine' Gunn.

VF/NM, or better.  A press will improve this one as well.

Adventures of Superman #545 (direct).  Does Superman gain new powers???

VF/NM, or better.  A press will help, but the back shows a few spots of very light ink rubs near the spine.

Adventures of Superman #546 (direct).  Superman gets a new costume.

VF/NM, or better.  A press will help, but the back has a mild scratch in the top part of the page that appears to affect the gloss only.  This could be a production defect.

Adventures of Superman #547 (direct).  The issue features appearances by the Teen Titans and Atom.

VF+, or better.  The biggest problems are the vertical 'scratches' on the back that appear to affect the gloss...mostly.  I believe these are production defects because they are perfectly symmetrical from top to bottom.  I kept my grade estimate low because of these, although a press will help a few other minor defects.

Adventures of Superman #548 (direct).  This issue features an appearance by the Phantom Stranger.

NM-, maybe better.  Except for very light blunting of the bottom spine corner, and a small spot of ink wear on the back near that corner, this one is pretty nice.

Adventures of Superman #549 (direct).  This issue features an appearance by the Dingbats of Danger Street.

VF+, or better.  A press will help here, but both covers show a few areas of light scuffs to the gloss.  This keeps the grade down, in my opinion.

Adventures of Superman #550 (direct).  This is a double-size anniversary issue.

VF/NM, or better.  There are a couple spine creases/wrinkles on the front near the top spine corner that will press out for a higher grade.

VF+, or better.  There are pressable defects here, but the back shows those vertical 'scratches' that may be production related.
