Package waiting for opening 1 1

Hi everybody from Italy

I sent a package to CGC to submit some comics for the signature serie, mostly having deadline on sept. 22.

The CGC site tells me that the package has been received on sept. 7 and that it is stored in The CGC facility.

This is my first submission to CGC….according to your experience, is such a long time normal just to open a package?
I sent an email to CGC but got no answer.

Welcome to CGC! As long as the package was delivered to our office before the cutoff date this will be accepted for the signing.

Carrier tracking may indicate that your submission has been received at our office, however, it can still take a short amount of time to reflect within our online submission tracking. All packages received move into an intake process where the contents are inventoried and compared against the submission form as validation before moving forward into the grading process. Should there be any discrepancy encountered with an item itself, a missing or extra item, or any other concern for that matter, our customer service team will reach out for clarification accordingly.

Please note, the intake process can take upwards of 7-20 business days before the order will reflect within online submission tracking. Thank you for your patience.
