I love me some Byrne/Austin X-Men art but it’s hard to think there could be a better cover for this issue!!!

Cockrum/Austin are a fantastic art team as well!

I’d get an Invincible page while you can at these prices.  Although the art isn’t as nice, the pages from issue 1 went got crazy high numbers for non Marvel or DC modern book.

What is the difference value consensus of Scott Williams's inks versus Art Thibert?

Very true, it just feels like it should be more by now. The Cockrum jumped by $40K since this morning. I would expect some movement on the Jim Lee X Men as well.

Problem is it’s now recycled, sold a year ago with heritage for $43k with the juice, so generally unless there’s a new audience consignor may take a haircut. 🤷‍♂️

IMHO, this is a far better page. Selling over 100K is not farfetched.

 

The Death page underperformed at $82K in comparison with previous results. Did the signature affect its value at the end?

I don’t think it underperformed at all.  It ended exactly where it should.

When you win that page you thought would go much higher
