Addressing the front cover overhang, I'd be scared to try and press that area. The paper has been stressed there once and pressing may result in a strip of paper coming off or partially detaching with a colour breaking crease which would be unsightly and a cause of regret. As is I'd say 6.5 

Those Marvel quirks (chipping, overhang,) can in my opinion, be the limiting factor in terms of achievable grade for many books of this era. Yours is a great looking copy.

Blunted corners with a color breaking crease at the lower right, denting along the top edge and some color loss along the outer edge, minor spine stress with multiple color breaking spine ticks/stress lines, cover is not properly centered as seen at the price box, slight dust/sun shadow along spine, wrinkle on rear cover under top staple.

Minor cover wear beginning to show, possibly including minor creases. Corners may be blunted. Inks are generally bright with a moderate reduction in reflectivity. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. Minor foxing. The slightest spine roll may be present, as well as a possible moderate color break. Staples may show some discoloration. Slight staple tears and a small accumulation of light stress lines may be present. Slight rust migration. Paper is cream to tan. Centerfold is mostly secure. Minor interior tears at the margin may be present.
