Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin the Lost Years

Spoiler

This was really disappointing, especially given how great the first series was. The entire Michelangelo plotline was completely unnecessary, with the exception of some mildly interesting references to the state of the larger world. I also don't find the new turtles all that interesting. I imagine the story will continue, but I won't be reading any more.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Part 2: As with the rest of the series, way too juvenile for my tastes, but the overall plot and enemies in this book were interesting.

Uncanny X-Men Omnibus - 4 more issues done. Days of Future Past was still enjoyable. The other two filler issues were not that interesting.

Oz Annual: Patchwork Girl, Oz Annual: Dominion of Ozmo, Oz: Return of the Wicked Witch

Really enjoyed these last ones. The Patchwork Girl has a fun design and ability, where she turns others into patchwork beings similar to herself. Like what they did with Dorothy's father in Dominion of Ozmo. He'd been shown primarily in the No Place Like Home one-shot prior to this. Also, they really figured out Dorothy now, making her the hero she should be. Return of the Wicked Witch has the best art. Mombi gets introduced, with a spin that focuses on the "Mom" part of her name. I thought it worked well.

Strange Tales One-Shot

Having a series of short stories that culminate in a grand finale is such a great way of doing a comic. The premise of monsters coming to life if people believe in them is clever and I love how that develops. It's just a really fun comic. The vibrant art style adds to it.

Bloodstone 1-4

I found the first issue for cheap. Kind of hard to tell how good it'd be from the first one. But every issue I liked it more. Elsa is similar to Buffy in appearance and humor. Then you throw in characters that are inspired by Universal Monsters. The way it all came together in the end was awesome.
