Can we text photos of books with graded-related questions?

I noticed we can text CGC with submission questions.  I was wondering if that also expands to graded-related questions?  For example, I might see a book I'm interested in, but unsure how something about the book would affect its grade.  Would we be able to text a photo and ask?

Great question!

Unfortunately, our customer service team can not assist with questions regarding how an item will be graded or offer potential grades. For our team to review a book or specific defect to see how it would affect the grade, the book would need to be sent through our grading services. We can not make these determinations from photos alone via the boards, email, or our new text service. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Let us know if you have any other questions.
