I've sold lots of books here on the Boards. Most of my kudos from back then were deleted when they migrated
to the new site, but some are still there. I've been selling artwork, records and comic books online for 25 years.
I go full pickle when it comes to making sure your book is packed tight and gets to you right - just ask around.

RULES!
No probies, hosers or otherwise shady people that I may have on ignore.
Payment made within 3 days of invoice via Paypal unless arrangements are made before you post the take.

RETURNS!
If there is a problem with a grade, or issue with the book or the post office wrecks the package - let me know within 3 days of receiving and let's work it out.
No returns on CGC books unless something happens in transit.

 Time stamps are the be-all, end-all way of determining a sale.
If an is posted in a PM and someone else posts it in the thread, that book will go to the post with earliest time stamp.
Believe me, it's happened - and recently just happened to me - which is why I have highlighted this long-standing rule.

Deities and Demigods - True 1st Printing/1st State in 7.5 $250 SOLD

Most people think the first printing just has the Cthulhu mythos, but true first printings/first state have no 'thank you' to Chaosium on Page 4. Ink loss due to surface rubbing around edges. Nice gloss and appearance. More pictures behind the spoiler tag.

Dungeon Master's Guide - 1st Printing in 7.5 $285

First printing indicators such as: flyleaves and endpapers are a yellow-orange color,  "ADVANCED D&D" in the angled yellow banner is too large, and the "D" of "ADVANCED" partially runs off the cover, wizard logo and TSR address appear on spine, no ISBN on spine, back cover, or title page, 232 numbered pages. Small corner crunch URHC F/C

Greyhawk Supplement - 1st Printing in 5.5 $775

First printing, which has the words "Additional" and "Supplement I" in a different, expanded-style font on the cover. Collectors surmise only 1000 of these were printed, of which a very small amount are likely to have survived all these years. Scarce. Stain on cover penetrates a few pages into the book, non-color breaking fold on FC, edgewear but staples are tight.

Monster Manual - 1st Printing in 6.0 $365 SOLD

First printing, Red End Papers, etc - all match 1st Printing criteria, name written inside F/C - includes Monsters Errata sheet

Player's Handbook - 2nd Printing in 5.0 $135

Binding is tight inside, but a little loose overall. Cover wear consistent with grade. The texture of the book cover makes it look like there's a lot of color rubbing - that is not the case, please see other photos as I tried to capture different angles to show the cover.

Expert Set (1980) - 1st Printing w/ Sealed Dice/Crayon $495

Complete set with expert rule book, very rare sealed dice with crayon AND rare true first printing of Isle of Dread module with misprinted module code on front cover/first page. This module has heavy color rubbing on the FC and rusty staples that have migrated to paper slightly. Dice and crayon in original bag, still sealed. Correct 1st printing box bottom, and two vintage character sheets included.

Basic Set (1981) - 9th Printing $395

Complete set with dice/crayon set in original opened bag and TSR promotional handouts. Box is very nice and has bright, vivid color. This is a great looking set.

Original D&D Set (1977) - 6th Printing $575 SOLD

Includes original box and lid, 3 vol books plus reference sheets and 3 supplement books, all with matching names and dates written on box and books - which is kind of a neat provenance, showing the set was from the original owner who kept everything together. The original three books that came with the box are matching printings, the additional supplements are I (12th printing, II (8th printing) and III (9th printing) - all with same name written on the inside cover.

Great set to get your feet wet in the D&D collecting: complete Basic Set with rulebook, module, original non-matching dice) some old hand-written character sheets, catalogs, pamphlets, photocopied vintage character sheets and a vintage gaming catalog.

I never played TSR games but my little brother did.  Not sure if TSR caused my brother's mental breakdown but it's mythical.

I remembered my brother always asked me to drive to Lake Geneva once a month except winter times.   I know TSR was dissolved/discounted in 1997 after it was changed through three different owners but Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is still open.  I believe TSR was founded in that same house.

I don't know a lot about TSR's history, but I do know that there is a huge amount of drama involved with it. That may be something I read about tonight on Wiki!

I played D&D as a kid in the 80's, and as recently as a year ago (up until we had a DM) - this stuff was fun to collect, and it has a very rich and complicated publication history similar to comics.

Comic Alley is in downtown Lake Geneva. They still have old TSR books.  The enclosed alley between two stores will take the customers to downstairs basement.  It's pretty cramped small room but a lot of cool comic books too.

Eventually, I just learned it's no longer at that location but it's still in business online.
