Did this book get damaged in the case? UXM #221 MJ 9.6

Hi! Just received a book and I’m on the fence with returning it. It’s a UXM #221 9.6 MJ Newsstand. Pictures attached. It’s very hard to tell from the CGC picture. But there’s a faint curve in the ebay seller’s photo. When I held it to the light (in hand) it looked way more severe. Pretty sure it will press out fine but I’m not sure if I want the hassle of all that. Could be a victim of SCS. What do y’all think? Other than a couple of very faint spine ticks and this, it looks 9.8. Would this flaw pass for a 9.6 grade? Thanks

Pretty torn. It’s rare and somewhat affordable but not a 9.8 grail. Circa my childhood. Silvestri era. The book just ticks off a lot of boxes for me. But KNOWING is half the battle. Here’s another pic in different light. I could get my money back ($650) or just roll with it

Return it.  That’s SCS
