Eitrol
Hello! I posted this elsewhere but I'm curious if you think it would be possible to get a 1.0 or 1.5 with this despite the split and detached front cover. It presents pretty well otherwise in my opinion! thank you! :)

zzutak
This rectangular discoloration (that just happens to be covering a nasty tear) makes me wonder if there's a tape repair on the inside front cover. Eitrol

I'd like to see a solid non GA-key with a fully split spine & no other defects. With most of these floors & ceilings described in their book, they appear to be talking about a flawless book with 1 major defect. I would be shocked if there were more than a handful, if any, comics that had their spine fully split & somehow escape any other bumps & bruises. i.e. I think we'd have to intentionally damage & submit the book for grading to test how strongly they adhere to their published standards Edited January 18 by scburdet Eitrol
fast eddie
Looks to be a 1.5 at best,,,, Eitrol
bronzemarvel
This is one of those "ceilings" where Overstreet seems to depart from CGC. Overstreet says for a 1.0, spine split can be up to 2/3 of the book and that a complete split would make the book a 0.5. Eitrol
bronzemarvel
Scrolling through past sales, I found a couple of ASM #1s with complete spine split -- both of which were reattached with tape -- graded at 1.5. Eitrol
Eitrol
Thank you everyone! And there is actually a piece of tape on the inside of the cover! I guess I'll submit it and see what it gets I'd really like a 1.0 but we'll see what it gets 😁 I'm just glad it presents so well
