7.0. Nice looking book.

This issue is commonly miscut... the top is narrower than the bottom.

Looks like it would benefit from a press. That upper corner of the spine would probably improve considerably. I see 6 spine ticks and stress at both staples. As is I think it’s F+ / F/VF. I think it could improve to VF-

I just sent my DD’s and others to CGC. So we’ll find out eventually.

7.5, some dings, but it's a dark cover so a little forgiveness.

That seems like a generous 8 comparing it to the grades I just got on my recent modern submission.

Well to be fair, I'm not sure you can really compare modern books and books from other eras. I mean the paper is soo different so certain defects are approached differently I believe. Additionally, there may be slight leniencies due to defects caused during the time that were I want to say done on a wide scale. Compared to modern where everyone clearly were handling comics with considerably more care.

But the photos were before I got it pressed and cleaned. So might have bumped it a half a grade to from what you're seeing. I'll post photos when it comes back.

I would've said 7.5. 

8.0 is very fair & worthy.
