Hello,

Anybody here has experience with Money Gram? I would like to know if there is any protection for the buyer if something goes wrong

There is a reason scammers utilize Money Gram as a payment method, there ain't much protection. Unless you know the other party well, I would advise against it as a payment method.

The only thing that offers protection is PayPal.

Money Gram, Western Union, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp all have zero protection.

I believe Venmo is part of PayPal now and offers similar protections if sending money as goods/services option.

They are but I don't think they offer the same protection. I'll have to check but I never use it for business transactions or purchases.

I used them once, twenty years ago, and it didn't go well.  It cost me $30 and several phone calls to send someone $100.  It also took hours when I was told it was minutes. I'm sure my experience wasn't typical as they are still in business.  I'm not a fan.
