How does CGC determine FMV on submitted books for grading? What Sorce or service do you use to determine how you charge customers? Thanks, Brian

CGC uses several different sources to come to our FMV for declared values. These include actual sold listings by reputable dealers/auction houses and price guide sites. All of these are taken into account by our graders to review a collectibles FMV. There is no catch-all that our graders will use for every collectible due to the volatile nature of the collectible market. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Additionally, per our Declared Value Policy, this FMV will be determined by CGC in its sole reasonably exercised discretion. I hope this helps.
