Popular Post Buzzetta
Looks better than I thought it would. It has my interest. However, if anyone makes a graph to see how this is received and what type of business it does, make sure that it is not compared to other Aliens movies. Since Disney is producing this under their 20th Century Studios banner, a division of the Walt Disney Company, it still makes it a Disney movie and also makes the Alien Queen, a Disney Princess. It should ONLY be compared to other Disney films. IYDKNYK... Randall Dowling, vheflin, Larryw7 and 5 others 3 1

Popular Post Buzzetta
I just got back from an 11PM showing. It was VERY good. It was BETTER than I imagined. Alien: Romulus is to the Aliens 1 and 2 like Rogue One was to Episode IV: A New Hope. It sandwiched itself in nicely without ruining Alien or Aliens. For the most part, everything made sense. The hype is well deserved and the movie benefits from being seen in a decent theater. Next up? Since I am already awake. I know that Furiosa hits HBO Max in an 1hr and 8 minutes. Maybe it's finally time to check that out as well. Pitboss, Microchip, Ken Aldred and 5 others 6

That sounds kind of like a best case scenario. When I heard it was set "between" the events of the first two Alien films, my immediate reaction was "well, that pretty much guarantees it's meaningless...." Maybe it could be a decent "stand alone" flick - mostly aping the 1st Alien from the look of it - but couldn't actually do anything new or different. Since then I've imagined ways they could integrate this story with the other films that might be cool. Now you are getting my hopes up! It doesn’t lead into Aliens but it definitely is caused by the events in Alien.

I've been trying to avoid any spoilers about the movie. But, I think they gave this away in the trailers. Here's what I think... Spoiler So presumably it reignites after being sliced open, and that is it in the station dead caught in wires when it pans up? So the opening in the ceiling caused it to die again? but not totally sucked out in space? Then the end protagonist is able to survive in space? When trying to break through the helmet on the chain?
