I was the one that sold it .

I posted Royal Mail signed and tracked from UK to Virginia on 10th April.

According to the Royal Mail tracking - it was successfully delivered to Mechanicsville Virginia.

But when I click on the USPS tracking it says: delivered to an individual at the address at 1:26 pm on April 18, 2024 in FREDERICK, MD 21702. !?

So it was delivered to the wrong person, wrong road, wrong town, wrong state and wrong zip code!

The recipient contacted USPS. They said it could be:
1) a scanning error (but our parcel hasn't shown and should have by now)
2) they think the green tracking label on my parcel was on the letter that was delivered to Maryland. There is no way a Royal Mail international tracking label (example below) can accidentally come off a parcel and affix itself to a letter. So it would suggest someone has removed it , stuck it over another item's label.... Could that be for any other reason other than theft?

Has anyone had either of the above 2 scenarios? Did you get it back?
