What was the first comic you completed buying off the stands?

For me all newstand/direct store runs occurred in the 80s.

It's kind of hard to hit the 50 issue mark...because I'll drop a book quickly as soon as it gets boring to me, plus some favorites didn't make it that far. .

A few that never bored me were...

Nexus

Moon Knight

New Teen Titans

Silver Surfer

It has to be a start to finish or a start to wherever it is now.

In other words you bought issue number 1 all they way until the end.

I remember Marvel Two-In-One pretty well as it was right around Thanksgiving/Christmas time when it came out.

Then for me it is a tie between Books of Magic and Animaniacs - both bought issue # 1 as it came on the stands and purchased the whole runs as they came out.

Majority of these were bought from the same neighborhood store during the 50's & 60's. After the store closed I continued buying my books at local comic shops. Never missed an issue. Starting with the 1st issue of each to the last.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

Fantastic Four

Avengers

Justice League of America

Challengers of the Unknown

Brave & Bold

Batman

Detective Comics

X-Men

Tales To Astonish

Tales Of Suspense

Strange Tales

Gorgo

Reptisaurus

Adventure Comics

Star Spangled war Stories

Metamorpho

House Of Mystery

My Greatest Adventure/ Doom Patrol
