Is this case normal? Just back today from CGC

Just got this today from CGC wondering if this is the new norm for the case when it's sealed also thought the book was supposed to be in an inner plastic well?

Lower Left and Right weld looks cold

Should I be worried?

Hi

Nobody is at CGC for me to check with.  Also, Customer Service will be here Monday, and this is their section.  Please be patient, and someone will find answers for you.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello @topcat54, thank you for contacting us. The pieces on the sides are clear wedges to hold the book in place. From what I can see, everything looks like it was done correct when encapsulating your book!

Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!

@topcat54

These heat seals are considered normal for books and do not qualify as a mechanical error. While this does not happen for every book in the same manner, the book is still fully sealed in its inner well. Thanks for checking!
