I am always looking to learn the subtle differences for these old books between different grades. I was at 5.0-5.5, but maybe I am low - going to post mine and see how it compares. Mine has a small amount of writing on the cover.

Here's a link to mine to compare to, appreciate input/comments on differences and how if affects grades. Thanks for any input!

Roadkill - I know next to nothing about grading these. I decided to get my late brother's comic collection out and take a look. They've been sitting in boxes for over 25 years... Trying to decide what to do with them.

Condolences on your loss.  :foryou:

Significant fraying  (tiny tears with color-breaking creases) to the top edge (the overcover).  Significant wear at the corners, spine and other edges.  Not the appearance I'd want to see in a book described or labeled as FN-ish.  So put me in the 4.5 camp.  If you're just looking to maximize your net return, this is one you should sell raw.  One man's opinion.  :hi:
