In theory, would a 10 cartridge alone be better than a 9+ CIB game?

I just sent in a CIB that looks like it's never even been opened.  The cartridge and manual and inserts all look immaculate, but the box has a couple of small flaws.  This is my first game submission, so that got me to wondering - say the cartridge was graded at a 10, the box was a 9.4, and the manual was a 9.8 - would it be better to have the cart alone as a gem?  Or will the CIB package always be better even with a slightly lower grade?

In the case of collecting games, especially retro games, the value depends on what exactly the collector or buyer is looking for. Such cartridges can be very expensive, especially if it is a popular or rare game. I once sold such an expensive cartridge and was wondering what to do with the money. Friends advised me to read about minimum deposit casinos, I used https://pl.bestcasinos-pl.com/minimum-deposit-casinos/od-1-zl/ for this. That's basically what I did. I have never regretted these decisions. Your cartridge, your money, you decide.

It is worth considering selling the CIB, even if the cartridge itself has a very high value.

Displaying CIB Boxes seems to have the "cachet" collectors seek as they generally present nicest.

My guess is those who prefer to display loose Carts are far and few between.  Unless as mentioned above its a proto or test or a rare label variation

P.S. Given the now rampant Slab damaging comics issue. I will be using my CGC credit towards Video Game Submission. I'll likley be frequenting this part of the forums as a result.  Since the late 1990's, when I was young,  I've put together a "carefully curated" collection of Unopened and or Sealed Atari 2600 games with a few Intellivision and Colecovision games sprinkled in.
