Luckily, I bought neither, and I'm seriously considering dropping the ongoing FF series from my pull list and just sticking with UFF.

I picked up the FF Special based on the retro art panels in the beginning. Overall, I liked it better than UFF Annual 1 (which stunk IMNSHO), but it wasn't anything to write home about. Pluck it from the convention bargain bin in six months.
