Overstreet made a mistake in the grade of the book when he listed it's sale in the fat guide many years ago. If that book was regraded today it may indeed get a 9.8, it was that perfect!

 

No Silver Streak MH's.

Note that the Lost Valley 27 is a beautiful copy - it is a 2.5 because there's a coupon missing from the back cover. I believe it sold for about $30K at one point, which struck me even then as being a bargain.

Oh just great, did I buy another mashed Heritage book? I own the 9.4. George, when was it a 9.0?

 

Forget it, I'm done with Heritage except in the most rarest of circumstances. In my personal opinion you often can't trust your purchases b/c you never know whether something was done to the book, and it seems that the odds are good that something was done.

I was waiting for the qualifier grin.gif I have said I'm done with them so many times and then they get something I really want and I have to swallow my pride and bid. I love it.

One more interesting note... the Allentown copy of tec 29 was sold as a vf/nm for $57,000 in 98.

CGC must of been kind on that one or overstreet was wrong again

It was listed in the AT master list as "NM".
