Rare Copper Age

71 posts in this topic

Here's one you don't see too often. It's the fourth and final issue of the series.

The first three issues were sold in three packs, making this issue hard to find.

Probably not high in demand but not common for a Copper book.

I got this copy from Doug Sulipa about 2 years ago and he had this to say about it in an e-mail to me:

YES, i agree, "The Black Hole" # 4 is TOUGH to find & many are looking for them, not realizing the scarcity!

while i agree with you, i wish someone would tell Mile High that. although maybe charging 200-600% of guide for Whitmans is a trend for the future

Well, at 200% of guide that's the MH regular price for non-Whitmans!

i may have left off a zero.

pretty sure, actually

Does anyone actually buy from MH's website? I grew weary of seeing a $30 modern listed for $150...

when i was first getting back into the hobby in late '04, i bought from them.

if you're a neophyte, and all you have to go on is Overstreet and their site, some of their stuff actually seems like a good deal.

never again, though. yikes, i really took it in the pants tell you what
