Adam, when you are done using your time machine, can I borrow it?

Sure. thumbsup2.gif

Just as soon as I change the oil and replace the transmission sprockets.

Alright, I finally got off my lazy duff to take a few pics. Here's one that's been requested. All my Centaurs (except one that's involved in a trade with someone confused.gif). My long term goal is to finish out the run of AMF from 1-v2n6. After that, I may buy a few, but they lose their appeal. Like a insufficiently_thoughtful_person, I sold/traded my 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 years ago and haven't seen another copy since. If you get any of those, please PM me!!!

Anyway, here is the 1st app of the Arrow, and all of his subsequent cover appearances. IMHO the 40 & 41 are far rarer than the v4n1.

I took the wrong weekend off from the boards, and am just now catching up.

I give the above picture a big hail.gifhail.gifhail.gif

A full collection of Arrow covers is a grail of pretty much any Centaur aficionado, and like buttock said, the 40 and 41 are almost impossible to find.

Coincidentally, those are the two I'm missing. I stand here bent over waiting for Dan to take what he wants out of my collection in trade.

Great stuff. The Air Fighters Vol 2, #2 (first Valkyrie) is one of my all-time favorite comics and one of my all-time favorite covers--the over-the-top word balloon, the composition, the implied cleavage, the chained, beaten Airboy, the great colors; this is the quintessential COMIC BOOK COVER.

Actually, a lot of the early Air Fighters covers were unusual and innovative in their design and content, but that one... it's in a class by itself.

Aw damn, Adam. There I was feeling pretty good about my copy of this book, and you flash up this thing. Now my copy is afraid to come out. It's stuck itself to the bottom of my safe deposit box, whimpering "I'm hideous, don't look at me."

Henceforth, there will be a rule, known as the Adam Strange rule, which states "any comic you have, Adam Strange has a nicer one. Anyone violating this rule will have to promptly send his copy to AS.

As Mike Myers said to Steven Tyler...

Well, it is the Church copy so it should look decent and, in all fairness, I probably got the idea of collecting that issue from you so go ahead, post away. thumbsup2.gif

HOW DID I MISS THIS GROUP SHOT?? wow, beautiful collection, Buttock!! My dream collection. Very hard books. Nice AMF vol 2/#5 ... spectacular!!! And that Arrow cover with the polar bear is another favorite. How long did that shot take you to assemble? And what is the average condition (they all seem to be well above VG's)?
