Thanks I must admit that I don't remember having so many sub 6.0 copies in my GGA collection. Most of my old label books are in the 7.0 and above range, but I started getting more desperate when decent copies weren't showing up anymore. Unfortunately, I'm only one major event (marriage, buying a house, etc.) from having to sell a bulk of my collection. When that day comes, some major sacrifices will have to be made. Harvey Dude
I am about ten issues away from completing my Tracy run. Most of my collection is in storage so I could not get a picture of the complete grouping. I was rummaging through a few boxes of my comics in storage and ran across some more of these gems. Harvey Dude
Joe Palooka Comics are one of my favorite series to collect. I believe I have about 15 books to complete this run. Here is a grouping that I located in my stash. These books are file copies that have excellent eye appeal.
Scrooge
Nice groupings. Your Tracy run is eye-popping! Is the Palooka third from top on the right edge of the shot the one with Bing Crosby on the cover? If so, could you tell me if Bing is anywhere seen inside? I'd appreciate it. I should probably ask for the issue # as well.

Harvey Dude
Is the Palooka third from top on the right edge of the shot the one with Bing Crosby on the cover? If so, could you tell me if Bing is anywhere seen inside? Thanks. Let me check on that. I don't open my comics since I collect for the covers but I will certainly take a peek at that one. (if I could just remember which box I pulled ) Edited June 30, 2006 by Harvey Dude
Harvey Dude
Hey Scrooge, The Bing Crosby cover was issue no. 41. I was a little apprehensive to open the book since the pages were still slightly binding together but from what I can glean, there was no story on Bing. I did see a nice bio on Otter Graham.
