AJD
Great collection Scrooge! How long did it take you to accumulate all of them? Are you planning to try to complete the runs? Thanks everyone! You know until yesterday I didn't have a clear idea of where I stood with Fiction House but turns out what you see is about 40% of everything they published It took me about 10 years? That means essentially a steady slow pace of simply 3 books a month and you get there. The tortoise approach as I call it. I am working on completing three of the Big 6 runs: Fight, Rangers and Wings. I'd love to complete Planet but it's not $$ realistic at this point. Jungles and Jumbos, I am only interested in part of each run. The rest, I have some of the minor runs complete: Indians, Long Bow, Toyland; close on Kaanga, would like to do Cowgirl Romance & Firehair. Not much into Sheena or Wambi and should get back into Ghost. Sorry went on too long. No need to apologise Scrooge - your collection is wonderful. Free range comics that can actually be read are great things.

ciorac
Since I was able to pick up Silver Streak #8 from my pal Larry at last weekends' BBQ at Todd's house, I thought a small group shot of the three issues I have was in order

tb
Here's a pic for the group shot thread. This and RHG's Detective group shots are some of the most impressive and aspirational I've ever seen posted here. I've never been able to fathom why the market can value a single key book (Action 1, Tec' 27, Marvel 1) 30-50 times as highly as any other book in the run. A deep, high grade run like this, which takes at least a decade to put together, is so much cooler and more impressive to me than a single #1, which might have been acquired with no more effort than it takes to write a check. It takes so much more passion and dedication to build a collection like Timely's.
G.A.tor
before they all disappear Can I have one since it is a dead title? the title is generally dead, but issue 8 is on the rise big time! (36 not too shabby either)...
