This run is still a work in progress (see my sig), but I've added to it quite a bit in the last couple of months so I thought I would go ahead do a preliminary group shot. :)

Still can't compete with the group shots posted above, nor can I compete against that silly dinosaur but I finally bit the proverbial bullet and ordered the Reggie # 6 that Mile High had listed for ever to finish my Archie set. In fact, it's ridiculous it's taken me this long since Archies from the 50's are probably some of the easiest books to find (remember I am not too much condition conscious). Archie was a minor publisher output-wise with only 10 books in my set. Proof the boards are great, I got the Suzie from 143ksk and the Ginger from Ed. Katy Keene was from Rich Munchin, Wilbur and Laugh were also Mile High purchases, the rest (Archie, Pep, Super Duck, Jughead) were eBay -

Yup, I'm starting a fight ... run that is. Here's my burgeoning Fight Senorita Rio run. I got the first one in ? late May I think -

What the heck, here's an update with better pics on the Fight run. Here's also another example of how the boards help being connected. I bought issues 23, 25, and 29 from Dale Roberts, 24 from 143ksk, 41 from Monstro, 45 and 48 from House of Comics, 49 and 52 from Mr. Bedrock, 56 from Bunky Brothers, 63 and 64 from Catrick. For the rest, 42 and 44 from Jeff Weaver, 33 from MileHigh and eBay for all others. Apart from some tough issues, the run from # 19 to # 71, i.e., the Senorita Rio run isn't that tough but it's been fun :)

Thanks for comments guys! (thumbs u

I love those covers :applause:

Do you have any Sunday funnies in your collection?

Only one - 9/23/34. It has the panel that was used for the cover of Tip Top 47. That and three Raymond Flash Gordon Sundays is the extant of my newspaper strip collection. :) I'd like to get more, but they take up a lot of space.

Thank you. Fight 39 is Seank's avatar, right? Yeah, that's a cool book. Not as tough as # 31 though. Does anyone on the board own a copy of 31? Dan, do you?

thanks...I posted them in the timely thread, individually, thinking they would be "bigger" but I guess that is as big as the free photobucket version will let me post...

You can't get any "bigger" than a run of Marvel Mystery! (thumbs u

what if they were all 8.0 or better...that would be better and bigger :)

I would love to see that! (I have a LONG way to go :( ).
