Not with it detached at one staple. Shouldn't bag on others grading in the marketplace anyway. Way too much of that going on. Happened in Darth's thread too.

It is what it is - a beautiful bright white book with white pages, with two significant flaws: 1) the cover is severely miscut, and the centerfold is is just barely detached at the lower staple.

 

Each of these defects bother certain collectors more than others. For myself, the sole detached staple doesn't bother me in the least, and I'll take each and everyone of your "VG's" that look like this

 

On the other hand, I don't like to buy miscut covers, but this copy has been in my collection for 38 years . . . and has served my collecting needs quite well. Perhaps you should ask yourself the same question?

 

Lastly, I have not listed a grade for this book, as I doubt you could get a consensus . . . so as they say . . . "Either put up, or . . . "

Great book! If I didn't already have 2 I would be picking this one up. I believe many of these have this same cut.
