Hey all you Battle Boys and Gals!

How about helping out this thread today with some nice 1961 War covers. It's at the top of the silver forum. Give the war titles a bit more exposure. But only 1961 and only one example of each. So if someones done it. Don't add another. It's not a war thread but a sampler of all DC titles for the decade of the 60's.

So far no one has posted any war covers. 1960 is done. Unfortunately no one posted any 1960 war books. My colllection is lacking in these years. Next week we'll be into 1962, '63 and so on.

You may or may not collect other DC titles but you may enjoy the thread.

Puleease!! Fazybones? Bigfiver69?

Do people really have time and a list of IDs to check who else is bidding before they place a bid on an ebay auction?

Jack

No, but there's a few that I know. I know BigFiver's and Paratrooper's ebay IDs.

No problem dude, if your going to keep it for your own collection I have no problem with boardies outbidding me. Just have a problem on boardies outbidding me strictly for the purposes of flipping the book.

You didn't outbid me on this one I recently won for cheap:

That's a great book. IIRC, it has a full length Heath story!

That's very unusual for Atlas!

I don't know of any others. Now that I think of it, it's NOT Heath. That sticks in my mind because I bought a copy years ago because the description said "Heath-c full length story". Due to the bad punctuation I thought it was saying Heath cover AND Heath full-length story. What it was trying to say was full-length story, Heath cover.

Years later, I can pass along the pain. :sorry:

Great book Trooper, (thumbs u

I watched you win that book and I really like Ira the seller

and have bought some pretty nice looking 10 centers he

graded as only VG. I find he's a pretty strict grader especially

for older books on e-bay.

PS: Do you still have any SS Heath covers you just might sell

to a big fan of Airborne Troopers. :hi:

Very nice!

Somebody's gotta have a list of DC's uses of the "I can't see but you can't use your hands" plot. There must be a dozen appearance on war covers alone, plus westerns and other adventure books.

Looking through my boxes of goodies I found another "you be my eyes,

I'm blind story" ...just for you Jack. :foryou:

I wish I could find more issues available in higher grade of this title. :cloud9:

I'm thinking about selling one, I have doubles of Combat #1 both CGC SS's by heath. Not sure how to price it, but if I do I'll let ya know.

I really like this cover, though part of my brain is telling me that it only confirms how comic geeky I am.
