Honestly, does it get any better than this book? Probably one of the coolest comics I have ever seen. First Solomon Grundy, for all the ignorant.

 

Just to nip some things in the bud, no it does not belong to me and no, not for sale. If it was I would buy it myself. Sorry.

 

No hidden damage. WHITE pages. Small lower staple tears.

Obvious reasons, spine roll, large crease, a few stains and rounded corners.

 

I'm leaning more towards 4.5 but it may be a 5.0.

 

Nice color though! Even at 4.5 it's still a great book!

The Grading Bastiche says ....4.5. That corner crease is the only thing really taking that book down from a 5.5. Great Color and the back is pretty darn good.

When you grade alot of books you start to feel you might be losing consistency...

I was torn between 4.0 and 4.5 myself...but with the blinding colors and as long as cover is still well attached, I think it gets the slight nudge to 4.5. Awesome!

4.5 - and I would LOVE to have a copy in just that grade

 

As for the back cover ad - I suspect it has less to do with the cookies than that Red Dress wants the Sailor to show her a good time, whereas Four Eyes knows how to show a Sailor a good time.
