When you get a chance, post up your Weird Comics #1 as well? I've more or less retired from Fox collecting in recent years, but that's the one book I'm still gunning for.

 

 

 

 

Fox for this time period with Fine Tuska Simon etc. is just wonderful. Great set of Fox books you have

 

#1 is Comstock copy which is incredible condition and Tuska recreation of his own work....jb

+1; just a great book Billy (Mystery Men 2 and Planet 2 remain two of my all-time favorite Fox books).

 

Note also that this is the "S" copy (w/excellent PQ).

I might well be the only one who's a fan of these books, but it's notable that a bunch of uncommon Weird Comics are coming up in the Heritage Sunday auctions. No Weird #1, unfortunately, but a smattering of the really tough mid-run issues.

Cool and distinctive yellow cover... and you gotta love a kid sidekick who beats bad guys with a bat!

Don't think I've ever seen more than a couple of copies.

i useta have the frisco copy of that issue of weird. was a 7.5, as i recall. i sold it here on the boards.
