I wanted to wait until the 1st trimester was complete,

but I just can't contain myself any longer...

 

I'M GONNA BE A DAD!

 

My wife and I have been trying for almost 2 years...

 

She went the doc after being three weeks late to confirm last week.

We are going for an ultrasound tomorrow.

 

I'm so excited I don't know what to do.

 

Someone else did something on these boards that I thought was real cool...

(sorry for copying the idea, but I loved it)

congrats.. I was gonna pick my birthday of feb 27th ..but old guy got me there, then the 7th for my sons birthday but I think Steve got me there. So I will now try to go with the 24th. Great to hear good news. I love the Dad role.. thumbsup2.gif

but i have personal grief regarding jumping the gun on the announcement

 

I know, I know I fought long and hard for a week and a half

but when I had all those people yesterday around town telling me happy father's day

and all the people on the boards asking me if I was going to this con or that one...

 

It was killing me not to say something here.

 

oh well, I just can't keep a secret...

 

I hope and pray all goes well.

drbanner's right on about the loss of time outside the house. 27_laughing.gif What I've also found is that even within the house, it's increasingly hard to find a block of uninterrupted time for reading (well maybe a quick read of a Modern or two) But fortunately they invented these boards-- perfect for the sleep-deprived, short-attention spanned, incoherent ramblings of new dads. yay.gif (at least, that's my story, & I'm sticking to it sumo.gif).
